showmanship/magazines [Nov. 20th, 2006|11:17 pm]
collating bones
Okay, now that's showmanship. (link via WFMU--5 minutes or so long, but worth watching all of)

So we've got a magazine rack in our living room, where we keep the current issues of everything we've got subscriptions to. At the moment, that's the New Yorker, the Believer, Entertainment Weekly, Blender, Spin, Mojo, Rolling Stone, Bust, Found, Wired, Star (IT WAS FREE DAMMIT), Macworld, Harper's, Seed, Print, Esopus, and Lisa's and my respective alumni magazines.

My question is: what do you recommmend as another magazine that's really good right now? We've got a couple of empty spaces on the rack.

Kitchen Sink, of course! What home is complete without it?

Incidentally, they sell it at Powell's if you want to try a copy before you commit. I would suggest the next issue, not the one that's on stands now. You might know someone in it, hint hint.
