The Posies, "Richie Dagger's Crime" [Jul. 7th, 2001|10:05 am]
collating bones
Part of the interfiling-CD-collections problem: lots and lots of compilation CDs that tend to get listened to less often. Pulled the Germs tribute _A Small Circle of Friends_ out of the wall, and realized I hadn't listened to it in five years. But this one song is what's kept it in my collection: they found the pop song inside Darby Crash's brain-meltdown eruption, and realized that it was in fact "You Won't See Me." Cute but not great--it goes into storage, rather than into the ditch-this pile.

eeew, Germs!

Hey sugar!
Did I tell you I know Don Bolles?
And one of the funniest things I've heard in a long time:
Jim Thirwell said the other day, "All things lead to Don Bolles."
Don and some bandmates sued Courtney Love for using "Celebrity Skin". That was the name of one of his many bands.
Now I think he just DJs. I don't even think he is doing Kitten Sparkles.
I know this has so little to do with the pop song in Darby's head, but you know me...always on a tanget.
