Appliance: Imperial Metric [Jul. 5th, 2001|08:44 am]
collating bones
Absolutely the most boring kind of use of sequencers in pop music--think Depeche Mode without a distinctive singing voice, or U2 without a distinctive anything, or NIN without the menace and charisma. No sense of fun, no need to exist. Maybe sounds a little like the stuff Daniel Miller used to do on his own, as the Normal and the Silicon Teens--I can see the appeal for him--but couldn't I just hear both sides of the Normal's single six times in a row instead?
