Yeah, the performance poet who comes on and does her thing ("all over you," as John said of Yoko) at the end of every Roots record. Which is why I tend to turn off Roots records right before the last track, but hey, are there beats here? No, not especially, and her delivery is Type 2 of Annoying Performance Poet Diction (Type 1, of course, being the upspeak-and-hold vowel pattern popularized by the Last Poets, who unlike anybody else who's tried it could get away with it). I sort of wish her politics were complicated rather than merely "good," too, but "good" politics aren't so bad.

Oh my goodness, I now have a name for that annoying poetry diction! That stuff makes me bristle and it chaps my hide! I HATE that stuff! Abhor it! eeeeww!
