Squarepusher: Go Plastic

Big Loada was SO good--"the sound of someone jerking off on a pinball machine," David Krakauer supposedly called it, but in a _good_ way, I'd add--and nothing since has done it for me the same way. This isn't one of his ghastly jazz noodle records--lots of spattering-ketchup-all-over beats--and "My Red Hot Car" is almost as cruel and zippy as it's supposed to be. But I think I'd have been mildly disappointed by this, neatly constructed as it is, if it'd been Big Loada's follow-up, and now it's four or five years later. I want him to take the next step, this time in the _right_ direction.
